Free range eggs or eggs from cage hens?

    If you see the way the poor caged chickens are kept , it is a no brainer. Also, as free range are not under stress the eggs seem to taste better- lovely yellow yolks from happier hens.

    Free variety eggs are the one ones i purchase, organic when i will be able to. I can't buy eggs from caged hens even though the cages are relatively larger now. If I would i would have a couple of chickens in the again backyard, unluckily that's now not allowed. If it were allowed that could be the simplest time i'd purchase caged hens - to present them a brand new hire of existence. Apparently rescued battery and barn hens rapidly adapt to a average existence. M

    Free ranged everytime. If they only have battery hen eggs left I won't buy them.

    I go for the free range usually. But like Occulty, budget is sometimes a factor.
