money earned and not paid from employer in WI?

I recently got let go from a company after a couple weeks, after complaints about my check being short, they actually fired me over the phone for mistakes they said i had made within the two weeks. I requested they pay me the money owed on the first check , and was told they only owe me for one day but actually owed for four days, I am worried i will not get paid at least not the correct amount. I was upset and told them about the way i was let go and that my bills would all be late because of this mistake, they said they would check about me getting it right away instead of me having to wait 2 more weeks, but never called me back....What can i do if they do not pay me money owed? I can't afford attorney and have no income now? any advice helpful and thank you
