how do i put a girl down nicely but still stay friends?
ok so my friend mikey informed that my friend amber likes me i already new this but did not think to much of i because i always had a girl friend sadly 3 weeks ago we broke up :( amber has very shyly asking me out and i have been playing dunb to aviod the subjet or say i cant becouse i have other plan witch is why mikey informed me . amber is a friend of mine and i just want to stay friend with her bit i dont want to hurt her feeling
please give me some advise and thanks

Well there's always the fall back of "I'm not ready to start dating again" but that means you can't date anyone else either or it will hurt her feelings. you could try to explain how important your friendship is and that you wouldn't want to jeopardize it with a fling. Mention that friendship is more important and you don't want anything serious. and if you think you might want to have a real relationship with her later try being honest and saying you just want to have some fun right now, and you would only date her if it was serious.

Well do not lead her on at all. Be completely honest. If you keep avoiding telling her you just want to be friends, then the day you do tell she will probably feel too embarrassed to stay friends. I suggest you guys hang out in a group or something and hint that you do not want to date anyone at the time, and also hint of that everyone there are such good FRIENDS lmao Tell Mikey to keep his mouth shut its better if you tell her anything
