What should I do about my ex-bestfriends since like 1st grade!?!?

Okay. So in about November me and someone else played a simple harmless prank on one of our friends (my best friend since first grade) She had overreacted and took it too seriously. Me and my other friend apologized and she seemed okay. But she kind of ended up forgiving the other girl and not me. Now she's best friends with someone else (not the girl who pulled the prank with me) I've tried apologizing and tried to fix things.

We were on the same basketball team and during practices and games we seemed like we were friends again but then when we got back in school she TOTALY ignored me again. I know it's been a long time since me and her have been friends but I really miss being her friend and I have tried to talk to her about it. What should I do? Should I just give up?
