Isn't it time to adjust Doomsday Clock?

Currently the time is 11:55. With growing tensions with NK, I would bump it to maybe 11:57 ish.

No kidding and excellent observation. From what I read, the clock was last adjusted in mid January this year and obviously, the political/military situation has changed dramatically since then.

OTOH, maybe they're purposefully delaying an updated setting. After all, with only FIVE MINUTES left, if they took 1 or 2 off now and things worsen... Can they put "negative" minutes on the clock?

OPINION: No. All out war with NK would not require nuclear weapons on the part of the USA. The US is very good at convental warfare (See Iraq I & II). 48 hours of Shock & Awe and NK would have nothing left except an army with no air cover. SK can mop-up with the US bombing and strafing everything moves in NK.

So, even if NK launched a nuclear attack, nukes would not be needed in retaliation ===> No doomsday.
