Why is Hunter Hayes on country radio?

Hunter Hayes is on country because country is more pop today. He should be on Adult Contemporary with other teenie boppers and Michael Buble. Hunter has been touring with Zac Brown. I agree he is not very good at all really. If you wan't to hear new talent, get Kasey Musgraves new album. She is very good!

He actually does have A LOT of talent, his voice is incredible. He actually is country but has turned a bit pop. His song wanted is probably his only pop song. Just try listening to some oother songs like maybe love makes me, cry with you, all you ever, and storm warning. Now those are some good songs that me personally think sound like some other country songs. I do agree, his song wanted isnt very country. Give him a break though, hes only 21. He does have talent but hes new and definatley has some areas to improve

The real question is why are artists like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood on Country Radio. To be honest Hunter Hayes is closer to Country then MOST mainstream artists.

i am gonna use the fact he plays intrusments..he plays like 30 of them and that took a lot of work, but hes also naturally talented . i like his voice a lot, its very easy going and doesnt sound like hes even sound like hes trying hard. and he cant control that his voice sounds like garys. and have you ever even seen him live? im gonna guess you havent cause you dont like him, but many times recordings sound aweful but when youre actually there, theyre really good and that could be his case. if its not, he just got discovered and hasnt had 30 years of experience like george strait...i like him a lot imo..but he isnt really country

He is actually very good live. He is an extremely talented young country singer
