what is a working day in australia?

i am doing online shopping and it says it will take up to 8 working days? if i was to buy it now when will i get it? x

    Angel, same as anywhere else basically, your standard working day in Australia, is Monday to Friday, excluding any statutory public holidays.

    It's called common sense.

    Only idiots like me would go into the office on a Saturday or Sunday, or the Queens Birthday, stuff like that.

    The working week is Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

    So 8 working days would be like 2 x Monday to Fridays with no public holidays...
