I'm 16 and auditioning for the X Factor UK. Question about parents or guardians?
Since I'm 16 I need someone to come with me that is 18 or over.
Does it have to be my mom or my stepfather, or can anyone come with me?
What do you mean by guardian? Do that person need a written permission to come with me?
Thank you!!!

a guardian (if that is what is required by x factor guidelines) is the person legally responsible for your safety and care. ie your parents or a person that is appointed to take care of you by a court/judge.

you will need written permission from your parents to go in the first place and as long as an adult goes with you it should be ok, if in doubt ask the x factor for specific details and good luck

any adult can take you to audition. your parents will have to sign any papers that are required.
