Plastic ones really aren't great, on my guitar and Ukulele I have the metal one with the little screw on it. They work a treat, easy to clip on and tighten, make a good sound. Obviously the more pricey they are the better quality but it depends if your a beginner or Intermediate or expert etc. I highly suggest a metal one though! :D
