I assume that you are referring to adverse possession. If so, have them removed for trespassing - go down to the police department and swear out a complaint.

If they have not established residency at the property call the police and have them removed and arrested for trespassing. Of course they are gonna say they have a legal right to be there and have been there for a month or so..
At this point the police would indicate that this is a civil matter, therefore you would be required to go to court and obtain a legal eviction order signed by a judge. You would need to give them a time frame to move out by writing a note or letter indicating the date and the time frame in which they should vacate the place.
This notice could be from 3-5 days depending on the eviction laws of your state.
If they fail to move during this time frame you would then be required to file a legal eviction notice through the court system. There is a fee for the filing of this eviction. They would need to be served this eviction notice. You may serve it, however, it might be to your benefit to pay a fee and have a local law enforcement agent do this on your behalf.
Again the eviction notice would give them a time frame to move. Failure on their part to move, a local law enforcement agency would some to the property and physically evict these individuals and have them place any personal property on the curb.
I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.
