Do you agree with Melissa Harris-Perry that our kids belong not to their parents/family, but to the community?

Children should liberated from their parents at preschool age and taken to community schools where the parents will be allowed supervised visitation. Community schools will be better able to not only educate but also to ensure that children have proper nutrition, medical care, will develop proper life skills and will be dissuaded from bad habits such as smoking and illicit drug use. It is well known that children inherit many bad habits and viewpoints from their parents such as bigotry and homophobia. Community schools will ensure that children will not be susceptible to indoctrinated by their parents in these negative values.
