Yes To Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturizer?

Question

If you have used this moisturizer, I would love your opinion about the product. I have very oily skin and have tried everything under makeup (primer, no primer, moisturizer, no moisturizer, one without the other, etc.) I would like a moisturizer that actually hydrates my skin without making me so oily. I am acne prone, but I am not looking into the acne repairing lotion because the description doesn't really contain what I'm looking for.

Is this truly a balancing moisturizer? Is it oil-free and will it decently control my extremely oily skin? 

I heard that it's best for people with oily skin to stick to oil-free moisturizers and makeup, which makes sense. I am kind of skeptical of it, however, because I've also heard that using oil on oily skin will make your skin produce less oil. I would think the first statement is easier to believe, but I'm not sure which is really best. Whenever I used oil, I felt like it made my skin much worse; like it would sit on my skin because it didn't want to be absorbed into it.

I agree with you on the whole oil on oil thing. I heard all these supermodels used coconut oil for moisturizer and I decided to give it a try. I was to chicken to let it sit on my face for more than 2 minutes. Anywho, I have tried the moisturizer and it isn't the greatest. I have combination skin and it didn't work too well. I think the Yes To Tomatoes brand is only good at acne care. I do have a moisturizer called CeraVe moisturizing lotion and it is oil-free and works WONDERS. I used to have flakes on my nose and then oil all over the rest of my face, but when I tried it it smoothed out everything perfectly. My mom got the recommendation from my brothers dermatologist and I hope that you try it too!
