Is it worth changing my Gigabyte HD 7770 to a 'generic' 7870?
Hi,
I've been rethinking the purchase of a Gigabyte 7770 (£93) GPU for a new desktop and wondering if it is powerful enough.
The card should still be in the refund period and the box is unopened. So I was wondering what you thought of this HD 7870 (£155.40): http://i.ebayimg.com/t/AMD-Radeon-HD-787%E2%80%A6
It looks unbranded to me, which is weird and frankly I don't understand, so any explanations would be appreciated. Also, do you think the performance increase is worth the 65% price increase for casual gaming?
And everything else in my desktop is fast (mainly for music software): i7 3770k, 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 RAM, 600w PSU etc.

Again it really depends on your specs the graphic card would increase your gaming performance, amd is the main maker of their graphic cards other companies are sub contractors to amd graphic card amd only give the companies like sapphire , xfx the graphic chip , when you said generic could be the main maker of the graphic card AMD
