Have you checked with U-Haul? That would fit an upright piano, and then you would drive the U-HAUL from state A to state B yourself. If you live in a 2-story or more house, I recommend getting at least 4 guys to carry the upright piano, as it is heavy and bulky. Also, since there would be stairs, take off the side rails at the corner of the staircase if at all possible, so that turns are easier.

I utterly agree, digitals simply do not evaluate to the real factor. Acoustic pianos simply have a greater feel and a better sound. You do not necessarily want a grand piano to have a excellent piano. Uprights (like another) need tuning about once each 6 months. Preserve your eyes open although, i have never needed to pay a dime for my pianos thus far. Our first one we saw in an ad within the newspaper, a church was once giving it away free. It was a Wurlitzer upright. Not the excellent, but it surely definately did the job. Our current piano, another upright, belonged to my piano trainer who couldn't fit it in her house. So seem around earlier than you give up. If thats now not an choice and you've got gotta go digital, get a digital piano with weighted keys versus an digital keyboard. Excellent success!! =]
