how to get screenshots back to higher resolution?
For school, I was making a few 3D houses using Google SketchUp and to keep track of my progress I would take screenshots along the way. I would paste them into a word document so I could easily go back and get them for later use. I would size them down to be able to put a good amount into the one document. But now that I have gone back to get them when I scale them back to a big size they are very blurry and the resolution is very bad. Is there a way to get them back to the original quality? Why did the resolution become so bad when i saved them? I can't go back and retake the screenshots.
I do have Gimp2 if Photoshop is the only option but I would prefer to not have to do that.

I may have a solution for you.
Open the file, do a Save As --> Webpage. Wherever you saved it, you will find a folder. In that folder you should find the original images at their original size (along with smaller ones that represent how it looks in the Word doc).
On Windows XP, I can also achieve this by right clicking on the document and sending to a zipped folder, then opening the zip. But I just tried it on Windows 7 and it doesn't do that.

You cannot get back the original quality...you lost it when you downsized the pics. The resolution is bad because by downsizing you also created a a much smaller file with less data.

You can't if you downsized them. No matter what you try, the resolution is no longer there. You need the originals period.
