Apparently it's a new option that's checked by default and you have to uncheck it. So it's your fault if you don't catch it right!? Dumb***es. Not even YA believes that or they wouldn't go to the trouble of checking it by default to try to get us to use it.

Complaints have been streaming in at the Y!A suggestion board already.
Yahoo made a 'default' check in the box for sharing on your submission pages See screen shot http://i.imgur.com/u5tXBCP.png
You can UN check it, and hopefully it will remain UNchecked.
It might come back after you log out though. :(

There's also a solution (in that thread^) to the ads that are popping up on questions too.
