im writing an essay on memory in general, how memory works in a humans brain, how its stored and all of those things, and now im supposed to add my own oar into an ongoing debate that i add to my essay. What is an ongoing debate on memory? is there really anything they cant agree on when it comes to memory? also i need some good citations, do you know any body who studied it, like psychologists, or any scientists or even therapist that use it in their own sessions. your help is appreciated, thank you.

Is it about working, long or short term, semantic, emotional memory?
Is it about parts of the brain, cells or molecules?
I like theories about musical memory, it can even survive amnesia!
