How do I stop a Facebook window popping up every time I answer a question?
Every time I answer a question on here, Yahoo! Just insists that I share it on Facebook by opening a window and telling me to log in.
I don't want to, and closing the window each and every time is getting annoying, is there a setting to stop this?
Turns out, it happens when I post questions too. -_-

For answers and questions, all anyone has to do is unclick the little box that says "Also share this as an update to” right above the Submit/Preview buttons. And you only have to do that one time!
People just need to read, and relax. Y!A is just giving people the option! It’s always been there. Today there’s just a glitch that keeps checking it.

You can stop it, but it is a PITA. Just above the "Submit" and "Preview" buttons" is a line,
"Also share this as an update to" and the Facebook icon.
It is checked. Uncheck it.
With Mozilla Firefox running under Windows 7, (and probably many more OS/Browser combinations) you have to uncheck it EVERY time you post a question or answer. (Not when you vote for a BA, though.) With other operating systems and browsers, it stays unchecked for a session, or at least some other users have reported it staying unchecked.

There are some device faults top now's what i might anticipate - I save getting the popups too and what I did became sparkling my surfing historic past and cache. If there are in case you click the X interior the top top nook of the placed up on your timeline, it provides you with the choice to revoke publishing rights for Yahoo. Then, circulate to privateness settings on facebook, decide on apps, and then circulate to the record of apps and you will see Yahoo - click the X on the main marvelous of that one too, and which will get rid of the Yahoo app from facebook. I in simple terms did it and it works advantageous now. Ticks me off whilst they do issues all of sudden. edit: I stand corrected - you are going to be able to could desire to click the container each and every time for no less than some cases. Mine finally in simple terms stopped posting once I did it some cases. yet determine you revoke publishing rights, it ought to take somewhat to kick in whether it could. there have been distinctive device faults the previous few days that i've got observed, this seems to be a sparkling one in the present day.
