quick physics question?

I am arguing with someone that, if thrown from 10000 feet, both an empty glass bottle and a full glass bottle will shatter upon impact with the ocean. he says only the empty glass bottle will shatter. so, who's right and why?

    Most likley, he is ..

Most liquids are not very 'compressible' = water especially so ... so the 'full' bottle might as well contain concrete ..

The empty one contains air .. so the impact will allow the glass to 'deform' inwards and it is likley to break.

Of course the BEST way to resolve this is by experiment !
