This belongs in the Religion section.

Nah; but it's not the only religion with "miraculous births."

Buddha was born of the virgin Maya after the Holy Ghost descended upon her.

The Egyptian God Horus was born of the virgin Isis; as an infant, he was visited by three kings.

In Phrygia, Attis was born of the virgin Nama.

A Roman savior Quirrnus was born of a virgin.

In Tibet, Indra was born of a virgin. He ascended into heaven after his death.

The Greek deity Adonis was born of the virgin Myrrha, many centuries before the birth of Jesus. He was born at Bethlehem, in the same sacred cave that Christians later claimed as the birthplace of Jesus.

In Persia, the god Mithra was born of a virgin on DEC-25. An alternative myth is that he emerged from a rock.

Also in Persia, Zoroaster was born of a virgin.

In India, there are two main stories of the birth of Krishna, one of the incarnations of Vishnu, and the second person within the Hindu Trinity. In one story, Krishna was said to have been born to his mother Devaki while she was still a virgin. In the other, he had a normal conception and birth.

Virgin births were claimed for many Egyptian pharaohs, Greek emperors, and for Alexander the Great of Greece.

And just for fun, note the similarity in the lives of mythical figures Hercules, Osiris, Bacchus, Mithra, Hermes, Prometheus, Perseus and Horus; they all :

    been male.

    lived in pre-Christian times.

had a god for a father.

    human virgin for a mother.

had their birth announced by a heavenly display.

had their birth announced by celestial music.

    been born about DEC-25.

had an attempt on their life by a tyrant while they were still an infant

    met with a violent death.

    rose again from the dead.

No since that was the law of a old culture. Anyway Jesus is not a myth. Weather or not you believe he is the son of God, he still existed on earth and there are records of him.

Jesus did exist, now did he have all of that power and is he the only way to God, that's a different story. The story of his conception though, leaves me wondering if Gabriel really was an angel...

you are able to desire to factor to the Holy Spirit wherein he's the genuine presence of God (not an angel) who connects the non secular to the cloth, He connects Heaven to the earth, He connects the Divinity of God with ourselves. the daddy sent the Son from Heaven during the Holy Spirit the Son conceived of Himself interior of His mom's womb. In Scripture St. Gabriel the Archangel states that the Holy Spirit will descend upon the Blessed Virgin Mary and he or she will conceive and characteristic a Son. The Son while He grow to be sent from Heaven grow to be a spirit the Holy Spirit allowed the spirit of the Son to go into into between the unfertilized eggs interior of His mom's womb wherein it grow to be given existence. Jesus is the precise same flesh and blood of His mom the only distinction is the gender chromosomes wherein Jesus is a male. Jesus had no organic and organic father so if the technological expertise might have been obtainable for the time of their time Jesus' DNA may well be precisely comparable to His mom's DNA. there grow to be no sexual intercourse in contact during the theory.
