I'm on a contract with assberry and it's so not worth it. What should my next phone be? Galaxy s4 or iPhone 5s?

For Me, it has to be the Galaxy S4, If I am to pay a premium for a product I expect premium features like
1) A High Definition Screen-- (Just because it is Retina does not make it high def )
2) NFC-- as I live in Europe, and NFC payments for Food/Public transport, has become important here
3) The ability to choose from any of the MP3's on my phone for use as a ring tone
4) The ability to wirelessly stream my Video,Audio and pictures to any modern day TV without additional costly hardware.
5) Share any of my music library with my friends just by touching phones
6) Store my entire music collection (up to 20,000 songs) with google, available to be streamed back to my android phone whenever I like for free (Apple charge $25 per month for this)
7) A 2 year warranty instead of a 1 year warranty (Samsung Vs Apple)
At the person that said Android does not get free firmware updates, I would like to point out that Samsung freely give updates on their devices for 2 years, after that Unofficial sources on the internet continue updating popular devices, also for free.
Further when we get updates we get ALL the features that come with the update, for example my 2 year Samsung Galaxy S2 received Google Now in it's most recent update, Google Now is the Google equivalent of Siri. Please show me Siri running on a 2 year old Apple Device for example the iPhone 4.

What you're asking is one of the most controversial questions asked these days. Android or iPhone?
Honestly, it's really just a matter of preference. Apple's iOS is known to be exceptionally user friendly, but from a software standpoint, it's very limited in it's customisation. At the same time, Apple offers free software updates whenever a new OS is released; something no Android does.
Once again, it really comes down to preference. I would recommend borrowing a friend's for a bit or spending some time playing with them in stores. They're both wonderful phones and you'll be happy with either one. Personally, I have an iPhone and I'm very satisfied with it, but I would just as quickly try a Galaxy s4.

Samsung s4 is better phone

Iphone has the best security by far of any smartphone (because all code gets reviewed first before it can get into the appstore). To me thats the most important thing with a phone, no need to run antivirus or worry about what you are installing on it. The design is also better, far thinner and lighter, and isn't like a plate in your pocket.
