i quesiti sn i seguenti: Calcola la misura di due segmenti sapendo che la loro differenza è di 45 cm e che uno è il quadruplo dell'altro diminuito di 6 cm. (17 cm; 62 cm)
La somma di tre segmenti misura 68 dm. Calcola la misura dei tre segmenti sapendo che il secondo è il doppio del primo e il terzo supera il secondo di 3 dm. ( 13 dm; 26dm; 29 dm )

1) Chiama i due segmenti a e b
a-b=45
a = 4b - 6
a = 45+b
45+b = 4b-6
a = 45+b
45+6 = 4b-b
a=45+b
51=3b
b= 51/3 = 17 cm
a = 45 + 17 = 62 cm
2) a+b+c= 68
b=2a
c = b + 3
b=2a
c= 2a+3
a + 2a + 2a + 3 = 68
5a =68-3
a = 65/5 = 13 dm
b = 2 x 13 = 26 dm
c = 26+3 = 29 dm

Primo segmento = x
Secondo segmento = y
x - y = 45
x = 4y - 6
4y - 6 - y = 45
x = 4y - 6
3y = 51
x = 4y - 6
y = 17
x = 62
Primo segmento = x
Secondo segmento = y
Terzo segmento = z
x + y + z = 68
y = 2x
z = y + 3
Sostituisco la y della seconda equazione e poi la lascio momentaneamente in disparte:
x + 2x + z = 68
z = 2x + 3
3x + z = 68
- 2x + z = 3

x = 13
-2x + z = 3
x = 13
-26 + z = 3
x = 13
z = 29
E riscrivo l'equazione che ho lasciato in disparte:
x = 13
y = 2x
z = 29
x = 13
y = 26
z = 29
