Rahm Emanuel, former adviser to Obama said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste."
All this is Obama wanting to capitalize on a crisis. Nothing more. Diane Feinsein had her Assault Ban Bill all written up and ready to drop, she was just waiting for a "crisis" to happen so she could take advantage of it. Obama is about as tacky as you can get using adults and children of Sandy Hook to further the agenda.
But remember in SEPT 94 the Democrats passed the first Assault Weapon Ban. Then in NOV 94 we had an election and for the first time in FORTY YEARS, the Democrats lost control of the House. It will happen again when they pass this bill.
