Hi, if you have fair skin and burn easily, you should not do 15 minutes. Depending on the bed or stand-up you are using will help determine how long you should stay in it. I used to tan when I was younger, honestly you do not need the lotions at all. Some will argue that, but you don't need before or after lotion. Just way to make money. (I worked in a tanning salon in NYC) Stand-ups are the best in my opinion...if you want a glow as you said just do a few minutes first time to see how your skin reacts. The next time you can do a couple minutes more. Perfect tan.....just don't go for the orange look, not cool. Hahaha hope that helped a bit.

I tan every year in summer time. And about to work at a tanning salon. If you've just started going for the yea start out small. Start at like (example) 5 mins. For a week, then 10 mins. For a week. Then 15 for a week. An now ive reached 20 mins a week. Dont go any further then 20. Some people do 25. Thats okay. But 30 mins is a bit to much. But plus i burn easy too. But start out small. You dont wanna start at 10. Because you'll get burnt easy. Use your tanning lotion BEFORE you get in. And i have a special lotion for after you get out and it helps your tan stay on better! Hope this helps!!! Xxx

Depends on what type of bed. A basic bed you'll start out around 5 minutes. Advanced around 3. You apply the lotion before you tan. You go in a private room and have 5 minutes to get ready then you get in the bed and shut the lid and it'll start half way through the time it'll beep and let you know. Once it shuts off you get out and get dressed and leave. They'll explain all this to you when you go in
