    2n(8n + 56) - 120=0

    2n(8n + 56)=120

    Divide both sides by 2

    n(8n + 56)=60

    8n^2 + 56n - 60 = 0

    If you have difficulties with factorization, use the quadratic formula;

    x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

    In the eqn. 16n^2+112n-120=0

    a=16 , b=112 and c=-120

    n=(-112±√(112^2-4(16)(-120)))/2(16)

    n= (-112±√4864)/32

    n=(-112 + 69.7)/32 or n=(-112 - 69.7)/32

    n=-1.32 or n=-5.68
