What is the best thing you did for yourself..without the help of others?

I feel proud of starting my own business from scratch and now we are in export, mainly to China.

Btw, it's a team effort where our staffs and managers did put their 100% under my guidance. I am very proud of whatever modest biz we have set up without much help from government. Rather, after overcoming all the roadblocks created by various government agencies, starting with City Corporation, VAT, Tax, Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Telephone-yes in those days we had land-phones only), Fire deptt., Board of Investment, Environment Deptt, Import & Export Controllers. Most of these offices are stuffed with inefficient and corrupt people who would delay our work.
