Verizon wireless family plan question?
Alright, so I am currently on a family plan with verizon wireless. I opened a 2 year contract last year (so I still have a year left to my contract), I want to break off my family plan and start my own account with verizon, will I have to pay any early termination fees although I am still staying with verizon with the same phone?
Also, my phone currently has the 2GB plan (before the share everything plans started), will I have to switch to share everything although I am still staying with verizon and just making my own account? Pretty much, I want to keep everything the same, just want my own name on the account.
Please help!! :)

You can't keep everything the same. You're no longer a $10 line sharing minutes with a $30 data plan. You can't keep that plan. You must have minutes built in.
If you go on your own, the older plan was $59.99 for only 450 minutes and the same $30 for your internet. The $89.99 plan was the lowest you can do by yourself. By sharing, you save.
Edited to add:
Whatever rep assisted hotwop committed commission fraud. The rep claimed she couldn't take her number off the account and put it in her name. They made her sign a new contract on a new line of service with a new phone number. The rep made a commission and hotwop had to get a new phone number. There should not have been a disconnection or a second number. Just a single, smooth, transaction where the number is kept, the phone is kept, and the contract is not extended.
When you take your number onto your own account, staying with Verizon, you are not breaking any contract. When the contract was signed, it was an agreement that the line would maintain service for two years on Verizon. All you're doing is assuming responsibility for that contract. There is no termination fee because you're staying on Verizon and there is no changing phone numbers because you're assuming liability for that number. As long as the current account owner agrees to it, it's a simple process and if you're told you can't do it, ask for a manager.

Yes there will be a termination fee...but ypu can get out of it...sort of
They will disconnect your current number, but keep it in your name an additional year for 10 a month (kinda of like reserving a number). This is cheaper than paying the 250 terminstion fee or whatever the fee is
Then, they will give you a new plan but with a new telephone number

we have the verizon family plan
i would suggest just waiting another year then switching
and when you switch go into a verizon store, its easier to handle things there than over the phone
