Is a less ripened bannaa healthier than an overripe banana?

Now that we know that fructose is poison (i.e. cannot be digested by the body and is thus stored to fat causing "full hormones" not to be released cause one to not stop having cravings;), since a less ripened banana has less fructose, does that mean it's healthier?

    nope.

The nutrients don't go anywhere and the ONLY thing that develops is the sweet flavor.

Fructose cannot be digested by the body???

Who told you that BS? If it cannot be digested why is it that fructose is used instantly by the body when a diabetic takes orange juice or eats a banana when their blood sugar is low??? Of course it digests..

Fructose is only stored as fat if you eat more than you need, same with ALL carbohydrates, whether they are in noodles, a banana or your slice of whole wheat bread.

You need to rethink your health information or find someone who actually knows something to give you advice.

You have the studies wrong. They apply to high fructose corn syrup , cane sugar. Not pure natural fructose from bananas. Learn how to process information correctly . Watch the links I provided and read the articles , you dont know what you are talking about.

The researchers found that there was a significantly greater reduction in hypothalamic CBF after glucose vs. fructose ingestion. “Glucose (dextrose) but not fructose ingestion reduced the activation of the hypothalamus, insula, and striatum—brain regions that regulate appetite, motivation, and reward processing; glucose ingestion also increased functional connections between the hypothalamic-striatal network and increased satiety.”

Fruit juice typically contains very high concentrations of fructose, which will cause your insulin to spike and may counter the benefits of the antioxidants. Previous studies have already clearly demonstrated that drinking large amounts of juice dramatically increases your risk of obesity.

Fructose is different than glucose. HFCS is a highly processed sugar that is NOT natural fructose from FRUIT. Natural fruit does NOT cause the same effects as HFCS or table sugar.

Whole fruits, even though they contain fructose, may not be nearly as problematic as fructose from added sugars. One of the reasons for this is believed to be because whole fruits contain high amounts of natural antioxidants, as well as other synergistic compounds that may help counter the detrimental effects of fructose.

Clearly, the preferred intake of fructose is from fruit (never high levels of fruit juice). Fruit is a comprehensive nutritional package that also contains flavonoid antioxidants, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and fiber – along with a modest amount of fructose. In comparison, most manufactured products containing large amounts of high fructose corn syrup have little nutritional value. Instead, they contain a branded flavor that is full of addictive chemical stimulants. The goal for manufacturers is to create brand addiction, resulting in the powerful subconscious urge to consume more of their brand, which leads to massive overconsumption of fructose.

When consuming hfcs enzymes are activated that turn on fat buildup in the liver while elevating uric acid to a point that it causes free radical damage and inflammation. This is a fast path to obesity, fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

The problem is people who get diabetes do NOT only consume fruit in its natural state and NO other sugar in the form of juice, refined carbs, rice, pastas, processed foods junk foods sodas, , HFCS, etc. People need to worry more about what else they put into their fat mouths besides bananas.

Go watch the videos and read the articles. You dont know what you're talking about.

Actually, quite the opposite. When they're riper they have far more antioxidants and even have cancer fighting properties. And, I think you are thinking of high fructose corn syrup, or crystalline fructose, which are both horrible for your health. The sugars in a banana are very, very good for you.
