What do I do for my Quadricep pain?
Okay so yesterday I had a track meet and it was very cold and after I did my events (400m, 200m dash, and 4by2) I have this severe pain in my left Quadricep and it is difficult to walk on. I do not have any bruises or swelling and people are not believing me. please help!
Do I need to see a doctor?
What do I do to help it heal faster?
Is there a brace or anything I could wear to help me at school when Im walking a lot ? (type of brace)

Its a tough situation because quadriceps are used for general walking and running.
If you are experiancing severe and sharp pain when walking then you will definently need to see a doctor and might need to take a week off and stay at home.
Eat alot of protein full foods and supplements. I know supplements arent great for health but just this once it will not cause any harm.
I once strained my droit externe on my leg. I felt and heard a pop and verry sharp pain.
It took 2 weeks for me to feel comfortable with my leg and then 3 months for it to completely heal.
But in your case you need at least a week off depending on the severityb of your strain because quadraceps are used verry often.
Definently see a doctor if you dont wat to be perminantly impared and unable to run.
