how do I know the correct SDD drive for my MacBook Pro??? HELP?

I have a MacBook pro early 2008. 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM... I'm interested to give it more bust!!! And I was thinking about installing a solid state drive in it. The main problem is that I don't know how to find a correct model to my laptop. All models that I find now are made for the new Macs.

I'm here asking: "is there a easy way to know if a solidstate drive is compatible with my macbook pro from 2008?"

Thanks

Update:

I saw that the SSD that is inside the new macbook pro retina display is very small.... the size is completely different from the macbooks that come with regular HardDrive. I'm a little concerned about the pins to fit on the data cable.

All SSD that have SATA connector (pretty sure at least 99.99% do) will work. Form factor is 2.5". Maximum thickness is 9.5mm.

There is nothing different about the type or size of drive that fits in an older MacBook Pro and a new one.

    EDIT:

OK, Marcio. You got the perfect answer followed by two copy-cats. Wonder which one deserves "Best".

you don't need the perfect one for it, just chose the best one, i would recommend a ocz vector, a samsung 830 or a sandisk extreme ssd the macbookpro is a laptop, so, it only has for 2.5 drives, all ssd's are 2.5 drives and sata connections, 2008 would clearly mean that it has to be sata entrance, so you shouldn't have problems with that.

Any ssd drive will work on your MBP. It and a RAM upgrade (up to 6GB) would give your Mac a new life.
