Anyone know how to make Ice cream at home?

You can use regular salt instead of rock salt . . .

Ingredients

•Grape juice,chilled 2 cups

•Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

•Vanilla ice cream 1/4 cup

•Crushed ice as required

•Bottled soda 300 millilitres

•Fresh mint (pudina) for garnish sprigs

Method

Mix grape juice, lemon juice, ice cream and crushed iced in a large bowl and keep in the refrigerator again. While serving, mix bottled soda with the mixture and pour into individual glasses. Top with more crushed ice and mint sprigs. Serve chilled.

ICE CREAM

Makes approx. 500ml to 750ml

INGREDIENTS

300ml carton of double cream

400g tin of condensed milk

METHOD

Put the ingredients into a bowl. Whisk them until it resembles clotted cream.

Gently stir in any flavouring (see below).

Put the contents into a shallow dish.

Put the dish in the freezer.

Every hour or so, move the frozen bits at the edge of the dish into the middle. After about 4 hours, it should all be frozen.

ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS

Chocolate chip ice cream. Add ???g of cocoa powder and ??g of chocolate chips.

Coconut ice cream. Substitute a 400ml tin of coconut milk for the double cream.

Malteser ice cream. Put a small bag of Maltesers in the freezer until they are frozen and brittle. Make a small hole in the bag. Hit the bag with a rolling pin or any other blunt object until the Maltesers are completely broken up. Stir in the Malteser bits before freezing and/or scatter them over the top after serving.

Peanut ice cream. Add half a jar of crunchy peanut butter.

"Snickers” ice cream. Add half a jar of crunchy peanut butter and a tablespoon of caramel or toffee ice cream sauce. Top with chocolate ice cream sauce.

Strawberry ice cream. Liquidise and add 450g of strawberries.

Vanilla ice cream. Cut a vanilla pod open lengthways and scrape out seeds. Boil these and the pod in 100ml of milk. Leave to cool. Remove the pod. Add the milk and seeds.

to make ice crem u will need dahi , jam , vaNila essence , milk , cream and blend then as smoothy then let them cool thEn enJoy your icE creaM ..!!
