I just found a box of puppies?
I just posted about the 7 pit bulls I found in a box. They are illegal and will most definitely be put to sleep right away if I call the cops or the RSPCA I have a few dogs of my own and can't take them in I obviously don't want to leave them to starve. I'm 100% sure there pits because my mate owned one before they got banned. I will give them a meal but what should it be incase its there last? I need to call someone even tho I know the outcome for these helpless little guys I'm out of options I'm sorry to all saddened by this situation

You must do the right thing and take them to a vet immediately where they can be identified, or call the police for advice. I am a firm believer in a chance for all dogs, but also following the law (the Dangerous Dogs Act is of course nonsense). If you are found to be giving away these puppies then it unfortunately will be you who gets into trouble, as you have knowingly not taken them to a vet/or called police. Those who would knowingly take pit bull (or types) off of your hands, are likely to be the non-law-abiding type. Do yourself, the puppies and your friends a favour by contacting a vet/police.

Again, turning them in is going to be far better for them, than to just leave them. And can you find 7 people to take on these Pit Bulls, or should you, if that's what they are? It is a very sad situation, but maybe they are Staffies or Staffie mix. Not that Shelters need any more but please get them into a Shelter where chances are they may well find good homes. Again far better they are in experienced hands. And they may be sickly and in need of lots of veterinary treatment.
So it's there last meal ....... realistically what else can you really do to help them?
ps I don't do BSL, but you don't know the background of these puppies. Should they be Pits, from temperamentally unsound parents, you just might be responsible for handing on loaded guns?

See if there are any rescue groups that will take them off your hands.
There's also the possibility they're not pitts - as young pups, a lot of the "bully" headed breeds look remarkably the same.
If there's a rescue group available, they'll identify and sort out what to do with a bit more caution and time than a group already tending to thousands of animals.

I think you do need to call the RSPCA or some other authority as if these dogs ever get identified as Pitbulls even once they have been rehomed and become adults, they will be taken away and put to sleep. The saving grace is that if they are not pure breds its likely they'll escape death and from my experience, its quite hard to categorically identify pure bred pitbulls.

Find an area state where ever you live find somewhere where they are not banned i would take them off your hands but i live in Wisconsin (America). Not sure where you are located. Please do not let these pups get killed. It is not the dog its how they are trained they use to be called the "baby sitter dogs" because they are so good with children. Honestly if your even close to my area i would take them. You really should find a non kill shelter.

I know this will sound daft cause there banned but I am a dog owner/lover and do not believe it is the breed at fault but irresponsible owners, however cant you kinda give them away? im sure some people would take them, just a suggestion, I know it is only evading the outcome but I think that would give them a better chance rather than certain death

I would try to house them until I could take them to an area where they aren't illegal. I understand this is not possible for all. If you cannot house or help them wouldn't it be kinder to hand them in and let them be euthanized than suffer a cruel death of starvation?
