How do I know the correct SDD drive for my MacBook Pro??? HELP?
I have a MacBook pro early 2008. 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM... I'm interested to give it more bust!!! And I was thinking about installing a solid state drive in it. The main problem is that I don't know how to find a correct model to my laptop. All models that I find now are made for the new Macs.
I'm here asking: "is there a easy way to know if a solidstate drive is compatible with my macbook pro from 2008?"
I saw that the SSD that is inside the new macbook pro retina display is very small.... the size is completely different from the macbooks that come with regular HardDrive. I'm a little concerned about the pins to fit on the data cable.
this one is going to be compatible with my computer?

Check the specifications for the Crucial drives and anything similar will be OK to use...

you do no longer desire the suited one for it, only chosen the suited one, i might advise a ocz vector, a samsung 830 or a sandisk severe ssd the macbookpro is a computer, so, it in basic terms has for 2.5 drives, all ssd's are 2.5 drives and sata connections, 2008 might of course mean that it must be sata front, so which you mustn't have problems with that.

If i knew the exact type of laptop you had i could answer this much better. It should be fine for any 2.5" ssd but i cant say for exact.
