What are the streaks of light you see when looking at the SOHO data?

When looking at the footage from the SOHO satellite you constantly see stuff streak across the image.

Is this just static interference, or meteors, or charged particles?

    The slow steadily moving dots are background stars. The rapid random flashes are caused by radiation of various kinds hitting the camera's CCD detectors.
