A technician told me that the fridge's engine has been overheated?

is there anything that i can do? or is my only option is to buy a new fridge?

    A fridge doesn't have an engine, it has a motor and if the motor overheated, then there is a reset button you use after it cools down.

    The motor might be going bad for it to overheat and you might be able to just replace the motor.

    Or in reality you would be changing out the compressor, which is a motor inside the compressor system.

    Hi yes it is time to buy a new fridge and ring up the local council to take away the old one.

    Pull the back away from the wall.It needs to get air.
