Criminals don't pay any attention to laws... If guns were ever banned than only the bad guys would have them..Criminals prefer unarmed victims!!

Having a gun will not help all the time but being defenseless will never help..

Calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.

Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

Poll after poll after poll of Bostonians says that they feel they're better off with serious restrictions on gun ownership. Who the hell are you to tell Bostonians how they should or should not think about the topic of guns in their town?

I agree that in some situations, being armed MIGHT be better than not.

However, most humans are advanced enough to realize that some practices that are good in some cases, such as opening up the chest of a living person, are good in some situations (heart surgery) and not so good in other cases (killing a friend).

I agree with you, however, that this distinction - that guns are useful sometimes, but overall contribute to increased injury and death - might is too intellectual for Conservatives to discern and understand.
