Is Yahoo Answers becoming big brother?

It seem when someone answers with a reasonable answer and Y/A doesn't like it ,they refer to their community guidelines to delete it.

Not only does Yahoo delete the comment when they don't like it they can and will delete the users account just like they did me. You lose all information that you have supposedly saved in Yahoo e-mail folders. You have been terminated----deleted---- and there is nothing you can do about it. Yahoo is acting for big brother Government and monitoring everything that you say. WARNING be careful what you comment as I may become deleted even for this comment.

Not so! The problem is many members just either don't bother to read the guidelines & TOS or just don't understand them.It is the members of this community who report you,not YA staff.

The site is community moderated and automated. Enough reports by enough users with a high trust level and something is removed. It has nothing to do with "big brother". We ALL agreed to these rules when we signed up here; not everybody bothers to remember that, to read those rules - or to abide by them. It is up to the community to see they do. Staff says community moderation is over 90% correct and effective.

It is the other users who report you, so you have to answer in a manner that is acceptable to them.
