I want to be a nurse?
I'm going to be a senior in high school soon, I've been thinking about career options, and I want to be a nurse. Ever since I was a child I've always had an interest in the medical field. I don't want to go to school for a long time, I was thinking of being an RN in the emergency room. What's it like? How long do you have to go to school? Do you have to have a desire to help people to be a good nurse?

your very last question is very important. You certainly cannot do it for money – because if that is the case, you will make a miserable and unhappy nurse.
As a new grad nurse, you would not have a higher chance of getting a job in the emergency room. They often required an experienced nurse. You will have to work someplace else for a few years, and then apply.
