How do I kill the fleas on my dog?
I feel so bad for my dog, he has really bad fleas and I don't know what else do to. We gave him a flea bath , although I don't think he was washed properly, and we washed his pet bed. What else can I do without going out and buying flea medication or a flea collar? Please help me, he's absolutely miserable.
I didn't mention this before, but my dog doesn't live with me, he's really my mom's dog, and I'm watching him while she is out of town.

fleas live everywhere in your house. If you see one, it's likely that they are everywhere. We just got rid of all our fleas no too long ago. You're going to have to spend some money. What we did was give our dogs a flea bath. I let the soap sit on them for 10 minutes. While I was bathing them, my mom bought biospot spray and sprayed every couch, chair, and bed where the dogs had been. We also put all of their soft toys and blankets and the sheets from my bed (they sleep in my bed with me) in the washer. after their bath I gave them comfortis. It is flea and tick medication for dogs that they eat like a treat. It works much better than the topical stuff like frontline or advantage, but it is more expensive. We haven't seen any fleas since.
You'll have to buy some flea spray and be sure to let it sit on the furniture for a few minutes. Getting rid of the fleas will take some time and work, but if you devote a few hours of your day you should be able to kill them all.
Good Luck!
