Fruits/veggies going bad very quickly, any advice?
I had a bag of tangelos and another bag of onions (separated) that molded in like under 2 weeks.

Fruits and veggies need to be stored in different areas of your kitchen. Some will survive on the counter while others will will do better in the fridge.
Bananas and apples need to be stored away from other fruits and veggies due to the Ethylene gas they release naturally.

It is probably because you left them in the plastic bags
The fruit are best left loose in the veggie bin of the fridge, and the onions in a cardboard bag or those heavy multi-walled potato bags and kept in a bottom cupboard or drawer
Never buy more than you can't use up within a week, or those that will last far longer.
But them loose most of the time as that way they are going to be fresh whenever you go in there, and it gives you a few extra dollars if you buy bags of several different fruits and veggies. They just want to sell you more in those bags/

If your food is moldy, toss it. To prevent food from going bad in the future, put in the fridge for short-term storage and the freezer for longer term.

Put them in the fridge or buy less and eat it sooner.
