NEED HELP my sims 3 game wont stop CRASHING? 10 POINTS?

a while ago my sims 3 game would work fine with all expansion packs and stuff packs... i also had like 40% or the store content.... but i had to uninstall it then reinstall it and now it has been crashing like ****... i could only play the game for like 10-20 minutes before it crashes... my physical memory usage would go high and it would crash during 60-80%. I could hardly use any expansions or stuff packs now? i dont like it crashing...

my specs are -

computer - HP pavilion g6 2150tx

intel core i7

2.2ghz

8gb RAM

intel hd graphics 4000

i read that i reach the minimum requirements for this game but it doesnt work? INFACT EA TOLD ME TO UNINSTALL IT THEN REINSTALL IT BECAUSE THERE WAS A BUG THAT COULDNT BE FIXED WITH UPDATING THE LAUNCHER??? HELP

btw i play gta4 on medium and it works good... i play farcry 3, the movies AND SO MUCH MORE AND THEY ALL REQUIRE MORE THAN THE SIMS 3 .... i cant even play the sims 3 on a medium? 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!

    I had the same problem. After I launched the game, after 5 minutes it would crash and then I would have to reboot my computer. Turns out it was because my laptop was kinda crap. Actually it could be because of the amount of RAM the game takes up. Will all your expansion packs it will affect how your game runs. When I played The Sims 3 on my new laptop, I installed 1 expansion pack. I got bored of it so I uninstalled it and discovered that my game ran a lot smoother than before.
