Wooded area in the United States with beaches near them?
I know all states in the united states have woods in them but do any of you know of a few states with vast amount of woods that have a beach near them with moderately decent weather but has a warm summer and cold winter. Thanks :)

If you don't mind lake beaches == you can find lots of them near woods

I would think the Crescent City area in very northern California would hae that criteria. Very rainy, though. Some areas along the Southern Oregon Coast are considered a "banana belt" - wooded, beachy, but more sun than many areas of Oregon.
