What kind of spider is this?? BIG fangs, orange/red body.?

    That spider is called a Woodlouse Spider, and it's scientific name is Dysdera crocata. They eat mostly pill bugs, but will sometimes eat beetles as well. Those big fangs are used to penetrate the hard exoskeleton of the pill bugs.

    Source(s): I found these guys in my old apartment all the time. They come in through an opening at ground level, usually around a door. They have bad vision, so they come in your house accidentally and cannot find their way out again. Eventually they die there, just like the one you found in your living room.
