Contraceptive implant?
I've got an appointment to see my GP about the implant, and I was wondering if she'd inject it straight away or have me book another appointment? Obviously we'll have to talk through stuff first to make sure it's the right contraception for me but if it is, would they have to order one specially for me or would they have them in stock so that they can do it straight away?

You will probably need to make another appointment. I haven't been about the implant, but this is what I had to do for the Depo shot.
Just as a warning, many GP's don't do the implant themselves, in which case you have to make an appointment at a sexual health or contraceptive clinic instead.

when i went to get the implant, at a clinic they did it straight away, and it was just to talk about it, & dont worry about pain, it doesnt hurt at all, when i had mine done i didnt feel it so dont worry about the pain! but yeah they should do it straight away
