Algebra II! HELP with equation!?

Solve: Simplify the radical answers and round three decimal places:

1) -2|7x| ≥ 46

2) 3x^2 + 5 = 65

3) -2(x+7)^2 = -34

4) x^2 + 15x + 50 = 0

5) x^2 - 4x + 1 = 20 -7

    -2|7x| ≥ 46

    Divide both sides by -2 (remember to flip the sign when dividing by a negative)

    |7x| ≤ -23

    7x ≤ -23 or -7x ≤ -23

    x ≤ -23/7 or x ≥ 23/7

    3x^2 + 5 = 65

    3x^2 = 60

    x^2 = 20

    x = ±√20

    -2(x+7)^2 = -34

    (x+7)^2 = 17

    x+7 = ±√17

    x = -7 ± √17

    x^2 + 15x + 50 = 0

    (x+10)(x+5) = 0

    x = -10 or x = -5

    x^2 - 4x + 1 = 20 -7

    x^2 - 4x + 1 = 13

    x^2 - 4x -12 = 0

    (x+2)(x-6) = 0

    x = -2 or x = 6

    3x^2 + 5x + 2 = 0

    For this one I'd use the quadratic formula. x = [-b ± (b^2 - 4ac)] / 2a

    x = [-5 ± (5^2 - 4(3)(2))] / 2(3)

    x = [-5 ± (24 - 24)] / 6

    x = (-5 ± 1) / 6

    x = -1 or x = -2/3
