I am fortunate enough to live near the world-famous Heard Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Heard Museum has the largest collection of Native American art - both ancient and contemporary/modern - artifacts and antiquities in the world; a massive archive spanning 40,000 pieces and an extensive library containing the works of some of the most notable scholars specializing in Native American studies. I'm sure you'll find information on ceremonial masks there.

You could also mention this very recent incident- where a paris auction house sold off 70 stolen sacred Hopi masks- despite massive protests of the sale of stolen sacred objects.
