How do you build a second floor in the sims free play ?
just updated it but can't figure out how to build a second floor....is it to buy a staircase ? I can't even find a staircase in the store though.

What you do is you have to reach level 10, then it will have a little house on the left corner tap on it and it would give goals that you have to complete.if you complete the first set, you get the stair set. There are 3 types of sets: the stairs, the firefighter thingy and the elevators and escelators. Hope this helps!!:)

You have to do a couple tasks to unlock the stairs and then you go into the build mode and click floor construction ( the second one with three squares) and a blue wall will appear on the top of your house and you click on that blue wall and the u can place your stairs, i believe :)

Do what Kay says, but you have to gain at least 220 cc's. Keep woodworking and going to the town to collect these. Have several Sims do the woodworking, just don't let any of your Sims with good hobbies lose their rewards. Pick Sims who have no hobbies. This game is FUN! :)
