What is the city Redlands, CA like?
I'm looking for places to live in the southern part of California. I'm from Ohio so I don't know the area very well. I've been doing research and came across Redlands. I'm looking for a city with less than or a little over 100,000 people in it. I don't plan on moving for at least 3 years but I want to be proactive about this. I plan on making about 60k a year.
Is there anyone with first hand experience with the city? Is it good? bad? Things to do? Good schools? Housing? Anything really?

I don't live in Redlands but I've been in the city lots if times and I think it's nice. There are some good parks and some really good places to eat and hang out. Redlands is nothing fancy but its a good city in my opinion

Redlands is considered the "diamond in the rough". It's one of the nicest cities in the Inland Empire. I doubt you would be able to live very comfortably on $60K.

It's in the middle of nowhere. You're not in Palm Springs, you're not really in the IE, you're not in Los Angeles. It's not a bad place to live but it's nothing special.
