Desperate to get rid of cat pee smell out of expensive dry clean only wool coat?

Hi, can anyone please give advice on what to do with my wool coat/jacket - dry clean only - that my cat peed on? I have already taken it to the dry cleaners and that helped a tiny bit, but smell is still so strong! I have done a little research and a lot of people are suggesting soaking in vinegar? I was going to let it soak in my bathtub in cold water with a little vinegar I guess for a few hours? Then just airdry? or maybe the most delicate dry cycle on the dryer? Please offer any advice you can. My biggest fear is discoloration of the beautiful jacket and loss of quality, I dont mind if it shrinks a little bit, just not a lot. This jacket was a birthday gift from my mother and it cost $350!!! she keeps asking why I dont wear it and it would break her heart if I told her my cat peed on it!

So will vinegar cause discoloration? Best way to dry a big wool jacket if I soak it in my bathtub? ANY words of advice will help!! The dry cleaners were useless :( Thank you so much in advance for your help.

there are a few things you can do.

pour an ample amount of dry baking soda on affected area of coat and leave overnight - shake off - repeat if necc.

    spray with febreeze

hang outside for a good airing

Use a product call urine erase. I have used it for pet accidents on carpet. I don't know if it will discolour your wool jacket. The products uses enzymes to elimate odours.

I would think vinegar would damage or discolour your wool jacket since it is a acid

By having it dry cleaned should have removed the smell

You cant hand wash a wool coat

If it still smells return it to where had it cleaned

If you can smell it they should too

They will either offer to clean it again or refund your money
