First off. Tupac wouldn't be a raper. He'd either be in movies and be on will smiths level or being a label owner. Most of these guys he would have working for him. dr dre would have never gained credebility after the row. Eminem would not blow up and dmx would be seen as a tupac clone. The shiny suit era would only exist when big dropped a song or puffy. And puffy would have no grammy because missing you would not have been made if Tupac hadn't been killed I'm assuming Biggie would've not come to Cali.

He would probably be in the same category because the whole genre of rap has evolved. Look at Eminem, Jay Z, and Lil Wayne. They used to be underground rappers and now they are mainstream. Im sure the same would happen with Tupac.

Working at McDonalds, most mainstream musicians are just doing it for money while Tupac actually made effort to entertain his fans and successfully clarified his personal feelings. Tupac Shakur was always honest and very open to express his feelings, even his feelings of hate towards rappers such as Notorious B.I.G. and that is how he kept fans updated about himself, celebs these days use Twitter and Facebook to keep their fans updated about their status, Tupac wouldn't have needed that.

He dominated mainstream. He dropped an album and kept all other rappers out of the charts or below him in the charts. This was before downloadable mp3's. Kids only had money to buy one album at a time and it's obvious which one they chose. He'd be keeping these guys nowadays in check, assuming he'd still be making albums.

Hip Hop still would have changed, 2pac probably wouldn't be nearly as popular as he is.
